On 2 January 2025, a Van’s RV-10 aircraft crashed into a furniture warehouse in Fullerton, California, killing the pilot, Pascal Reid, and his 16-year-old daughter, Kelly Reid. The crash also injured 19 people inside the warehouse, with 11 hospitalised. The aircraft had requested an emergency return to the airport shortly after takeoff but failed to land before the crash.
