This Native Heritage Month, don’t just honor the past. Stand with the people who are still here. For the Chinook people this is home. Our ancestors are still here. Our families are still here. We never left. But we are still not federally recognized. We need Oregon’s and Washington’s congressional delegations to stand with us, to introduce and support federal recognition legislation.
