"It felt very vibrant and alive." David Tennant recalls his role as Hamlet where he held aloft a real skull bequeathed to the Royal Shakespeare Company. Pianist André Tchaikowsky left his skull to the Royal Shakespeare Company when he died in 1982 at the age of 46, in the hope it would be used on stage. However, it did not feature until 2008 when director Gregory Doran used it for his production of Hamlet. The skull was also used in the 2009 filmed version of the modern-dress production. That fi
