A couple of weeks ago, I introduced you to the ‘Wanderer Fantasy’, a piece by Schubert which is the last single from my forthcoming album, coming out on 1 November. This is one of Schubert's most technically challenging works. It is played without a pause between movements, evoking the long and epic journey of the ‘Wanderer’. Each movement is inspired by variations on Schubert's Lied ‘Der Wanderer’, which tells the story of a traveller who wanders through many places in search of his hometown. Y
