This dresser will feature some spindles for a decorative touch. They will be fastened with a threaded rod, so I need to drill holes lengthwise to allow for the rod. Unfortunately, the spindles were ½" too long to fit the drill press, so I needed to get creative. While unorthodox, the lathe spindle accepts a drill chuck, so built a jig to turn it into a horizontal drill press.
