Happy Sunday! This is Janet Lennon. Working with Jimmy Durante was just a dream. What a pro! He never missed a rehearsal or used a stand in. Even when he was working in Vegas at night, he would fly in for rehearsals during the day. He loved performing and he loved our show. He was so good to us. He never missed a day of rehearsal. We had so many laughs with him. He didn’t see very well without his glasses, so his cue cards had huge printing on them… sometimes only fitting 2 or 3 words per card! So he improvised a lot.
