Gemma started riding from the age of 8 as part of her physical therapy and, while riding, was discovered for her talent by her riding instructor. At 16 yrs of age, Gemma Foo made her debut at 2012 Paralympics Games in London and come August, will be making her third appearance at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics from the 24th August to the 5th September.
