🐾😔Duke has now been named the longest shelter resident- which isn’t a title any dogs or cats want. Honestly, I can’t understand why he hasn’t found a new home yet! Duke’s owner passed away but Duke hasn’t completely accepted that his owner can’t come back to take him home. Every time we go outside, he constantly searches around for that familiar face. Duke was a highly trained shepherd, and the sweetest dog you have ever met. The act was unprovoked and premeditated. Multiple witnesses who petted Duke saw what happened and cannot understand how there hasn’t been justice for this innocent dog and his family. #justice4duke I strongly believe felony charges should be brought on the suspect, what do you think?
