If you harvest your rhubarb by cutting it you’re doing it wrong 😮 Cutting the stalks leaves a bit attached to the crown and this bit can rot and damage the plant. It’s far better to twist and pull just as I do in this video. Ideally you want to see a little bit of the heel section come away with the stem. You also get a very satisfying sound as it ‘pops’ off the plant. I’ve stopped harvesting ours already as I only like to eat the forced stems. But here in the UK you can keep taking a crop unti
