and then one day someone walks into your life, a total stranger, and they become so important to you. and while you’ve known them such a short time, you feel like you’ve loved them for a lifetime. like something in you already recognized them before your mind had the chance to catch up. like they didn’t enter your life as much as they returned to it. and you can’t explain it. you just know that wherever they came from, you’re glad this life brought them to you.
