This horse was being loaded on the trailer .. it has been down out back in the lot for a long time with no help, there are so many horses here I never even seen this horse and when they ran all the horses up the hill and threw them in pens, this horse stuck out like a sore thumb engulfed in mudd like a swamp creature, shaking through out its entire body from being down and sick, to being forced up and ran up a hill,. I said to myself oh my god no, I will die on this load, stomped and a long slow

EMBER❤️ One of the five saved from Cleburne auction we lost her to a higher bidder, she went to a K*llbuyer, we were able to get her back 2 days later. Fairly deficit in nutrients and vitamin E she was tying up. She has serval small tendon tears and was in severe pain. She was sent to vets, X rays were taken and bloodwork, she is in muscle relaxer, vit E pain reliever, and a couple other medications. It will take several weeks just for the body alone to reabsorb nutrients the horse was lacking..

“Peanut”. At Tammy’s chilling out. He was saved from one of Bowie ship list approx 2 months ago, he was lame and taken to vet for hip issues to find out he has a slight fracture, he not allowed out to pasture for now. He has the best personality! He’s HUGE for just a baby, his teeth don’t match his body lol | Border Horse Slaughter Rescue

Six thoroughbreds were dumped for slaught*r to be disposed of whether it was by the trainer or the breeder doesn’t even matter?? no tattoo IDs will be given out for protection of the horses so that they can get a chance to survive.. no papers no IDs… doesn’t seem to be much wrong with any of them. I am not able to help fund for them at this time as we’re working on 50 head of donkeys if you can help them, please reach out to Micheal Stanley at the Bastrop lot or text 530-957-5229…. #ottb #equine

Adopters comment update - Both of these came together from Bastrop. They were starvation horses from a year ago. The black one (rear-end showing) is the one that has a hard time with weight. He is the one that sways when he walks. Something neurological. He his so sweet,as well as Jeb, the bay in same picture. I truly thought Jeb would not make it home ,because he was so skinny and sick. Now he is a chow hound. #animals #help #equine #horse #horses #fypシ | Border Horse Slaughter Rescue

17 horses left for adoption, no adoption fees just an approved contracted home. These 39 horses are alive today because of Border Horse followers. If we were not at the killp*n that week, all 39 would hv never seen the sun rise again. Please join us in saving them, the harder we bond together in the same mission, the more horses survive. Home offers needed, donors needed, monthly $1 club members needed, people to share and like posts and encouragement needed.. THEY NEED US ! #Trump #borderhorse

We recently took in two cats from the shelter, one that was very wild and couldn’t be touched at all had to go into a stray box, her name is now “Pumpkin” and this cat, who is now named “miss kitty” Miss kitty, has been thru a horrific living condition, where both her owners passed from a tragic sh**ting. U can tell she was dealing with a horrible living environment. When I took her in she would try to bite me all the time and always made a growling noise. Not as bad as pumpkin, but different in
