I am not sure how it happened, but Periwinkle’s leg was broken when she came to me nearly 2 years ago. It had already healed by the time I got her and, after looking at her x-rays, the vet and I decided it wasn’t necessary to do surgery or try to fix it since she is not in pain and she is able to perch and get around without issue.
