The Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood is going back to its original name. Singer John Mayer and filmmaker McG announced Monday that they’ve completed the purchase of the Los Angeles studio and they’re changing the name back to “Chaplin Studios”. The Henson Company moved into the studio in 2000 but agreed to sell it last year before moving to the Radford lot in Studio City, donating its iconic Kermit the Frog statue to the Center for Puppetry Arts campus in Midtown, Atlanta. | CBS LA
