Did you know that the Igbo are one of Nigeria’s largest ethnic groups, mainly from Southeastern Nigeria. Up to 40,000 Igbo practice Judaism today and are called Igbo Jews. They gather in synagogues (including communities in Igboland and Abuja) and observe practices like Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
