For years, the accepted story was that the first people to arrive in the Americas crossed a land bridge called Beringia, which connected Siberia and Alaska during the last Ice Age. But recent archaeological discoveries are completely rewriting that history. Evidence from sites along the Pacific coast of both North and South America are revealing tools and artifacts that are thousands of years older than those found further inland. This has led many scientists to believe that instead of walking,
