The sites include: 🍺 The Cleveland Bay pub in Eaglescliffe, County Durham (the earliest identified purpose-built railway pub in the world). 🚉 Weybourne Station and Sheringham Station in North Norfolk. 🚂 Havenstreet Station on the Isle of Wight. 🛤️ Swanage Engine Shed and Turntable, and Northbrook Road overbridge on the Swanage Railway heritage

In 2024, a Roman bathhouse was discovered at the Birdoswald Roman Fort at Hadrian's Wall. 🛁 After four seasons of excavation at Birdoswald, significant discoveries have been made. Here, we look into one of the dig sites, where we've found incredible remains of the bathhouse furnace room. Preserved features like the iron bars are only comparable to those in Pompeii. | Historic England

After being added to the Heritage at Risk Register 13 years ago, Saltdean Lido in Brighton has undergone a beautiful restoration. 🏊 This lido is an example of ‘streamline moderne’ architecture and was inspired by contemporary ocean liner and aircraft design.
