Bemba language and alphabet

Bemba language is spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). While primarily spoken in Zambia, it's also found in Southern DRC and bordering areas of Tanzania. The Bemba people have historical ties to the Luba Empire in the DRC, migrating to Zambia later. The Bemba people, who speak the Bemba language (Ichibemba), have roots in the Luba Empire in what is now the DRC. They are believed to have migrated to Zambia in the 18th or early 19th century. | Honourable Portrice Chanda
