Some fabulous footage of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway that I don't think I've uploaded before. I'm sure someone will correct me, but this looks like it could be one of the last, if not the last journey on this line. The train is shown here doing some trainy-things in Pilton Yard (I think?) before carrying on to Barnstaple Town Station - some nice footage of passing along Rolle Quay / Gould's Yard. The rest of the film is the outward journey to Lynton, but finishes with some footage of the auc

Just uploaded this one as a bit of a test really, it's been ages since I made a Then/Now animated video thingy, just seeing if I remember how to do it & if it works ok. I think the Then/Now things in slider format are infinitely more interesting and more effective ... sliders are a bit less forgiving if I haven't nailed the original vantage point & angle etc, but I think there's something about a 'slider' that makes it much more ... dunno...
