This weekend we kick-off our new series of messages, Fearless: Overcoming Fear with Faith. Over 3,300 people have taken our fear survey. This weekend we'll consider how fear leaves us paralyzed and the importance of faith in helping us take risk. I'll share some fascinating data from the survey and we'll look at the moment when fear left the Israelites paralyzed a mile from the Promised Land. This weekend we kick off a new sermon series on what was likely the very first document written in the New Testament, written twenty years before any of the gospels. It's a short letter Paul wrote to a small band of Christ-followers in Thessalonica. They were criticized, opposed and at least one had been imprisoned for their new-found faith. Paul encourages them to live as people of the light. This weekend's message we'll look at facing criticism with perseverance. Next week we'll look at what P
