Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is seeking a pardon for disgraced former colleague George Santos, claiming that the more than 7-year sentence is "far beyond what is warranted"

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is urging the Trump administration to pardon former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.), who is serving a seven-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Ms. Greene, the hard-right House Republican from Georgia, called her former colleague’s seven-year sentence “excessive” in a letter to the U.S. pardon attorney.
