Nintendo has confirmed that you won't be able to use Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers to buy Switch 2 exclusives.

Nintendo's Switch 2 is less than two months away from its big reveal on April 2, but Nintendo is already making some changes to its eShop in preparation for the new portable console. The company on Tuesday announced it plans to eliminate two programs for its digital store that saved Switch owners some money when buying games online.

Another family-friendly option that’s on sale for $40 is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (normally $60). It continues to be one of the most popular games on Switch despite launching in 2017, with heaps of unlockables, dozens of courses to master, and a long list of playable characters.
