MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has suspended a judge accused of helping a man evade immigration authorities.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has temporarily prohibited Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah C. Dugan from performing her judicial duties. The court issued the order on April 29, citing its constitutional authority under Article VII,

Dugan ordered officers to go to the chief judge’s office and, after the hearing ended, escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney out through a restricted jury door—bypassing the public area where agents were waiting—to help him evade arrest, according to the complaint, Fox said.
