Joshua lost his first professional match in a massive upset to Andy Ruiz Jr., and he followed that with back-to-back losses. While Joshua has gone on to reassert himself in some ways, carrying a career record of 28-4, Ruiz hasn't made much noise in the boxing world since then.

Stepping in to replace Tagovailoa will be rookie Quinn Ewers. After spending three seasons as the starter at Texas, Ewers was a seventh-round pick by the Dolphins in the 2025 NFL Draft.
