ASML shipped its fifth and final EXE:5000 High NA system in the first quarter and will begin delivering the follow-on EXE:5200 from the second quarter.

Samsung Electronics SSNLF said that High NA could reduce their cycle time in fact by 60%. Additionally, ASML shipped all its EXE:5000, and three of its customers have installed this tool.

For example, ASML's High-NA Twinscan EXE:5000 system, released last year, costs $380 million and weighs over 300,000 pounds. At those prices, ASML doesn't need to sell a high volume to make billions.

Earlier this month, Samsung shipped its first TWINSCAN EXE:5000 High-NA EUV machine to its Hwaseong Campus in South Korea, which is reportedly necessary for the manufacturing of the 2nm Exynos 2600.
