Following a third-round 65, Cameron Young has reached 20 under at the 2025 Wyndham Championship to notch a new 54-hole tournament scoring record and command a five-stroke lead over Nico Echavarria with just 18 holes to play in the PGA Tour's regular season finale.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Cameron Young ran off four straight birdies on the front nine and stretched his lead to eight shots Saturday before he settled into a series of pars for a 5-under 65, giving him a five-shot lead in the Wyndham Championship as he goes for his first PGA Tour victory.

The American is yet to win on the PGA Tour circuit but, not only does he take a comfortable lead into the final round of the Wyndham Championship, but has the chance to claim a special record
