The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to bolster their bullpen with an old friend by landing right-hander Brock Stewart from the Minnesota Twins on Thursday. The Twins will receive outfielder James Outman in the deal.

The Los Angeles Dodgers continue their crusade to upgrade their bullpen ahead of the MLB trade deadline. On Wednesday, the club added some depth by trading for RHP Paul Gervase and LHP Adam Serwinowski in a three-way deal with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds.

The Twins are serious about this. They're not going to wait around and allow a needed reset to become a long rebuild. Next out the door in what is very much a fire-sale: Brock Stewart, to his former organization.
