No Kings Day was biggest anti-Trump protests in Austin yet. Latino protesters are fighting to keep immigration front and center.
A week after a protest at the J.J. Pickle Federal Building in Austin, another activist group has organized a Monday night “noise demonstration,” according to a press release.
Organizers say the protest will be a "noise demonstration" to demand an end to deportations and the closure of local ICE detention facilities.
State police on Monday night used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse anti-ICE protesters marching in downtown Austin. A dozen were arrested.
