The White House has pushed back after reports that US President Donald Trump was told in May that he was among hundreds of names mentioned in justice department documents relating to late convicted paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

During a private meeting in May at the White House, Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Donald Trump that his name was among those listed in the materials reviewed as part of the Justice Department’s reopened investigation into Jeffrey Epstein,
