The 49ers are continuing their reset this offseason. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco is releasing edge rusher Leonard Floyd. Floyd, 32, joined the 49ers last March on a two-year deal.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the 49ers are releasing OLB Leonard Floyd. Per Over The Cap, the 49ers would take on a dead cap hit of $8.6 million with $1.48 million in cap savings if it’s a pre-June 1st release.
