Amanjot Kaur held her nerves to take Mumbai Indians (MI) past the finishing line in a nerve-wracking thriller against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Friday in the ongoing Women's Premier League.

Ellyse Perry struck a fine half-century to guide Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a competitive 167 for seven against Mumbai Indians in a Women`s Indian Premier League match here on Friday. Perry made 81 off just 43 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes to lift RCB to the total after they were stuttering at 57 for 4 at one time.

Nat Sciver-Brunt's Mumbai Indians claimed thrilling a four-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru to end the defending champions' perfect start to the WPL. The England all-rounder made a superb 42 from 21 balls as Mumbai chased down RCB's 167-7 with a ball to spare.

During the chase, openers Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews fell early. However, Nat Sciver-Brunt, in excellent form, remained unfazed, scoring 42 runs off 21 balls to set the tone. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur then took charge, scoring 50 off 38 balls. The match shifted when Georgia Wareham took out both her and S Sajana in consecutive deliveries.

Mumbai Indians (MI) delivered a dominant performance against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, securing a comfortable four-wicket victory. MI rode on Harmanpreet Kaur's fifty to chase down the 168-run target with a ball to spare.
