Flash Flood Warnings and a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect on Thursday as severe weather, thunderstorms and flooding concerns threaten the Washington, D.C. region.

Showers and storms will roll through the area this weekend. Temperatures will be much cooler, only reaching the 80s in the afternoon due to the increased cloud cover and rain chances.
