The Seattle Mariners have landed the best power hitter on the market at the 2025 MLB trade deadline. Seattle has agreed to a deal to acquire third baseman Eugenio Suárez from the Arizona Diamondbacks,

The Mariners are acquiring the third baseman in a trade with the Diamondbacks, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed. In return, the Diamondbacks are getting three prospects: first baseman Tyler Locklear and right-handed pitchers Hunter Cranton and Juan Burgos, MLB.com reported.

Given the surprisingly comfortable cost, and Eugenio Suárez’s success in Seattle, it's hard to see how any Mariners fan would disapprove of Wednesday's trade.
