PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — McNeese State coach Will Wade knows his name is in the mix during the college basketball coaching carousel. And unlike some coaches during this time of year, he’s not being coy talking about it.

As the NC State Wolfpack search for a new head basketball coach following Kevin Keatts’ firing earlier this month, McNeese State coach Will Wade confirmed his involvement ahead of his team’s NCAA Tournament game.

McNeese's Will Wade has reached an agreement to become the next head coach at NC State, sources confirmed to ESPN. First reported by @giglio_OG. Wade has won 57 games over the last two seasons at McNeese, went to five NCAA tournaments at LSU and VCU.
