Geary began his daytime television career in 1971 portraying the role of David Lockheart on the NBC series Bright Promise. He then briefly appeared on CBS ’ The Young and the Restless as George Curtis in 1973 before landing the role of Luke Spencer on General Hospital in 1978.
John Stamos paid tribute to both Anthony Geary and Rob Reiner after both the actors died on Dec. 14 at age 78. Geary died following complications from an operation, while Rob and his wife were killed by their son Nick.
