The latest edition of the Ranji Trophy concluded with Vidarbha securing their third Ranji Trophy title by securing a draw and a win on basis of second innings lead against Kerala on Sunday. Several Vidarbha stars featured among top run-getters and wicket-takers in the competition.

Vidarbha’s left arm-spinner Harsh Dubey holds the record of taking the most wickets in a single edition of Ranji Trophy. Harsh achieved this milestone during the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season. He led the Vidarbha bowling attack, taking 69 wickets in 10 matches.

Vidarbha put the ghosts of 2023-24 to bed in the most emphatic manner possible - snatching a thrilling battle for the first-innings lead in style - and then grinding Kerala down for nearly five sessions in the second innings to be crowned Ranji Trophy champions for the third time.

Vidarbha won their third Ranji Trophy title, courtesy their first innings lead in the final against Kerala as the summit clash ended in a draw on the fifth and final day, here Sunday. The match ended in a draw after Vidarbha reached 375 for 9 in their second innings.
