Comedy Central announced Josh Johnson will join the News Team hosting rotation at "The Daily Show." Johnson makes his debut at the iconic desk on Tuesday.

Johnson is a stand up comedian in addition to being a former writer and performer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He joined The Daily Show as a writer in 2017, racking up multiple Emmy nominations as part of the show’s writing staff.

Josh Johnson will anchor the Comedy Central late night show’s Tuesday through Thursday editions this week, marking his first time in the host’s chair. Jon Stewart will have his usual spot Monday night.
