Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov was the Hampden hero as he produced big saves before and during a penalty shoot-out to end their 35-year wait for Scottish Cup glory.

Aberdeen won their first Scottish Cup title since 1990, defeating Celtic 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Aberdeen held firm for the opening 30 minutes, sitting deep and allowing Celtic plenty of possession, before Greg Taylor drilled a rising shot just over the crossbar.
