The Post-Gazette has reported that the Steelers met with Harris' representation during the NFL Scouting Combine. The Gazette had recently reported that the Steelers would likely offer Harris a two- or three-year deal prior to the start of free agency that would pay him between $7 million to $10 million annually.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris could return to the Steelers, or at least the door is open for a return, general manager Omar Khan said. Khan noted that the running back class was strong, so that might curb any enthusiasm for Harris returning, but it is at least possible.

The Pittsburgh Steelers decided not to pick up the fifth-year option on running back Najee Harris' contract this offseason that would've paid him $6.7 million in 2025.
