A shortage of TSA agents, who have been working without pay since the shutdown began on Valentine's Day, has led to longer wait times at George Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby Airport.

Houston airport officials have said the partial government shutdown has prompted TSA agents to call out of work.

The roadway in front of what will be Terminal C will see construction on the lanes first. The area in question is at the end of the terminal lanes before drivers exit the airport.
