A woman who accused Mike Tyson of violently raping and sexually assaulting her in the early 1990s has dropped her lawsuit against the former heavyweight champ.

A woman who said Mike Tyson raped and sexually assaulted her in the early 1990s in the back of a limo has dropped her lawsuit, court records show.

Mike Tyson's rape accuser has dropped her $5 million (£3.85m) lawsuit against the former heavyweight boxing champion. The woman, who had claimed Tyson raped her in a limousine in the early 1990s, has withdrawn her complaint.

The woman who accused former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson of sexual assault two years ago dropped her case against him this week, an attorney for Tyson said. The case stemmed from an alleged incident at an Albany nightclub in the early 1990s,
