A Texas man was arrested in Indianapolis over the weekend and charged with stalking Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. According to court documents filed in Marion County, Indiana, the man sent threatening and sexually explicit messages to Clark over social media.

Police found that the man was sending Caitlin Clark messages on X that contained multiple threatening and sexually explicit messages.

An arrest affidavit detailing the case shows over 15 messages from Lewis' X account sent to Clark beginning December 16 through mid-January. Many of the messages were sexually explicit and sometimes violent.

"The turning point in this case is when you see someone taking the affirmative step of someone going from Texas to Indianapolis," said Ryan Mears.

The 55-year-old man sent the basketball star threatening and sexually explicit messages on social media, then traveled from Texas to Indianapolis to try to encounter her in person, prosecutors say.
