The Voice Season 28 ended with an impressive Coach Niall Horan three-peat, as his Artist Aiden Ross claimed victory.

Horan assured the audience that he was “feeling a little bit better” and said he was “glad to be” at the finale, but noted that it had been a “rough couple of weeks.” He did not specify the illness he was battling, but revealed why he would not be able to hit the stage with his finalists on Night 2.

Niall Horan is set to sit out his scheduled performance during the upcoming Season 28 finale of The Voice after being placed on vocal rest. The singer and coach has revealed he has been dealing with vocal strain following a demanding schedule and was advised by doctors not to sing during the finale despite starting to feel better.

The Voice' winner will be revealed tonight, and each of Season 28's coaches are hoping it will be their artist.
