Several NFL teams are gunning for playoff spots in Week 16 with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams already in the postseason after wins last week.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is reportedly considered a strong candidate to be traded during the offseason in NFL circles.

The 49ers didn’t play Sunday, but their standing in the NFC playoff picture still improved as the rest of the NFL duked it out in Week 14.

Now the 49ers are on the upswing and the Eagles look as if they’re lost again. They lead the NFC East, but have gone from 8-2 to 8-5, giving up 575 yards in the three losses. Hurts is spewing turnovers, and had two on one play (an interception and a lost fumble) on the same play in a 22-19 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Packers were briefly atop the NFC North after beating the Bears 28-21 in Week 14 but have reverted back to second place after falling to the Broncos, while Chicago took care of business against the Cleveland Browns.

The Denver Broncos will need quite a bit of help in Week 16 to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs and a first round bye.
