The immigrants from Cuba, Laos, Mexico, Myanmar, Vietnam and South Sudan arrived in South Sudan on Friday after a federal judge cleared the way for the Trump administration to relocate them.

The migrants were the subject of a lawsuit that halted their deportation to South Sudan and diverted them to a U.S. military base in Djibouti.

The eight deported men had been convicted of violent crimes, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
