A former NBA legend has provided additional context on why Stephen Curry can sneak past LeBron James in the GOAT conversation.

Stephen Curry made both his return from injury and NBA history in the Golden State Warriors' Friday night loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In the Warriors’ previous game on Dec. 12, Curry took over Jordan’s record for the most 35-point games after turning 30 years old, but it was not enough to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, who won 127-120. Curry scored 39 points and six 3-pointers during the game.

But while Curry has been running wild in terms of sneakers, he and Under Armour aren't completely done yet, as his final signature sneaker with the brand is expected to release in early 2026.
