The Jackson Township, New Jersey theme park imploded Kingda Ka, the world’s tallest rollercoaster, on Friday morning just before 7 a.m.

Six Flags retired the coaster, which opened in 2005, to make room for new rides, the company said late last year. Kingda Ka, both the tallest and fastest coaster in the world when
