An urgent flood threat has emerged in Washington state where atmospheric rivers are set to deliver heavy rain beginning Sunday.

Exhibits are made to be movable at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, for instances when a flood at the end of Second Street is imminent.

The call center for Kerr County answered over 400 calls amid the July 4 flood.

Kerrville Police Chief Chris McCall warned that the calls received by dispatchers are distressing.

SUMNER, Wash. — The City of Sumner says its sweeper is out working the streets to prevent localized flooding ahead of the incoming atmospheric river. The city says its crews are keeping a close eye on both the White River and Puyallup River levels.
