Flash flood warning issued for King County, WA due to a dam break
A dam break is causing a flash flood warning for southern parts of King County on Monday as rain continues to impact already flooded areas across western Washington.
At 12:11 p.m. on Monday, the NWS Seattle WA released an updated flash flood warning in effect until 9 p.m. for King County.
In early July, more than 130 people were killed in catastrophic flash flooding in the Texas Hill Country region, including 27 campers and counselors at Camp Mystic.
On Friday at 7:01 p.m. a flood warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until further notice for Clackamas and Marion counties.
