The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to bolster their bullpen with an old friend by landing right-hander Brock Stewart from the Minnesota Twins, ESPN reported Thursday. The return on the deal to the Twins was not reported.

The Los Angeles Dodgers continue their crusade to upgrade their bullpen ahead of the MLB trade deadline. On Wednesday, the club added some depth by trading for RHP Paul Gervase and LHP Adam Serwinowski in a three-way deal with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds.

The Dodgers acquired reliever Brock Stewart from the Twins in exchange for outfielder James Outman. They also added OF Alex Call in a trade with the Nationals.
