Amanda Seyfried's new thriller series Long Bright River has released a first trailer, unveiling a connection between the protagonist and a series of brutal murders.

The Peacock limited series, based on the bestselling thriller by Liz Moore, follows Mickey (Seyfried) a “police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis,” per a press release. “When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.”
